<p>The PNP CALABARZON declared full alert status to provide immediate response to the victims of Mt. Taal eruption that affected Cavite and Batangas areas.<p>

<p>Cavite- Officer-In-Charge PCOL MARLON R SANTOS in coordination with the members of Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office have directly supervised the deployment of search and rescue operations and monitored the situation of all evacuation centers located in Amadeo, Silang, Tagaytay City, Mendez, GMA, Alfonso, and Bacoor.</p>

<p>No less than, Senator Francis Tolentino called for an urgent Taal Volcano Crisis Command Conference held at Tagaytay International Convention Center (TICC). It was attended by Director Renato Solidum, Governor Jonvic Remulla, MGen Arnulfo M Burgos-Commander 2ID, PA, PCOL Rudolf B Dimas- DRDO, PRO4A, PCOL Marlon Santos-OIC, Cavite PPO, PCOL Edwin Quillates, PD, Batangas PPO, Eloisa Rozul, Dept Head, Cavite PDRRMO, PMAj Juan Oruga Jr, COP, Tagaytay CPS, Heads from national agencies, Mayors and representatives of various affected LGUs from Batangas and Cavite and media personalities.<p/>

<p>The conference focused on the situation updates re eruption of Mt. Taal, road clearing operations, rescue operations, and allocation of financial and logistical support from the local and national government.</p>

<p>PCOL Santos immediately deployed 88 police personnel in Tagaytay and Silang for road clearing operation. Meanwhile other personnel are on standby ready to conduct search and rescue (SAR) operations as the need arises.<p><br/>

CAVITE PNP MADE 37 ARRESTS IN DAILY ANTI-CRIMINALITY OPERATIONS AND RECORDED 8,216 QUARANTINE VIOLATORS

 

Date : October 5, 2021

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite- Cavite Police Provincial Office arrested 22 individuals involved on illegal drugs, 3 on illegal gambling, 2 on wanted persons, 2 on illegal possession of firearms, 8 involved in various cases and recorded 8,216 Community Quarantine violators over the last 24 hours. In the campaign against illegal drugs, twenty-two (22) individuals were arrested in 15 buy-bust operations provincewide and confiscated a total of 43 pieces of small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu, 15 pieces of SHTPS of dried leaves suspected as Marijuana, drug money and drug paraphernalia. In the campaign against illegal gambling, three (3) individuals were arrested while playing illegal card games “Tong-its” and confiscated 1 deck of playing cards, 1 table, 3 chairs, and cash money amounting to Php150.00 pesos in different denominations as bet money. In the campaign against wanted persons, one (1) person Ranked Nr. 4 in Carmona Manhunt Charlie List (municipal level) for the crime of Rape and one (1) other wanted person for the crime of Attempted Homicide were both arrested in Carmona, Cavite. In the campaign against loose firearms, two (2) persons were arrested for Violation of RA 10591 (Illegal Possession of Firearms) in Bacoor City and General Trias City. Police confiscated 1 unit of caliber .9mm pistol, 1 unit of caliber .38 revolver and ammunitions. Eight ( suspects were arrested for the crime of Frustrated Murder in Tanza, Cavite; Road Crash in Dasmariñas City; Direct Assault in General Trias City; Unjust Vexation in Trece Martires City; and Violation of RA 9003 (Ecological Waste Management) in Tagaytay City. On the implementation of Community Quarantine Protocols, a total of 8,216 were recorded wherein Cavite Police gave warning to 8,144 violators and 72 35 paid fines. CAVITE PNP WEEKLONG ANTI-CRIME DRIVE OPS ARRESTED 277 PERSONS AND RECORDED 56,441 MECQ VIOLATORS

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia,Imus City- Cavite Police Provincial Office spearheaded by PCOL MARLON R SANTOS, Provincial Director arrested 277 persons and recorded 56,441 MECQ violators on its intensified weeklong anti-crime drive operation conducted from August 30,2021- September 5,2021 with significant results.
A total of 56,441 MECQ violators were recorded, 6,307 for not wearing face mask; 9,002 for improper wearing of facemask; 22,287 for not wearing face shield; 14,064 for improper wearing of face shield; 3,242 for violation of curfew hours and 3,242 for violation of social distancing.
Out of 277 arrested, most of those arrested are involved in illegal drugs with a total of 113 individuals; 63 were involved in illegal gambling; 37 wanted persons, 12 of which are included in the list of Most Wanted Persons (Regional, Provincial, City & Municipal Level) while 25 others were involved in various crimes.
Cavite PPO intensified campaign against illegal drugs likewise resulted in the confiscation of 3 pieces medium and 213 pieces small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu and 21 pieces small HSTPS containing dried leaves containing suspected marijuana and other drug paraphernalias.
Police authorities also collared 63 persons for involvement in illegal gambling and confiscation of bet money amounting to P13,545.00 in different denominations.

CAVITE’s DAILY ANTI-CRIMINALITY OPERATIONS MADE 38 ARRESTS AND RECORDS 2,833 GCQ VIOLATORS

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite - Cavite PNP arrested 31 individuals in their Daily Anti-Criminality Drive and recorded 5,188 on Quarantine Violations over the last 24 hours.
In the campaign against illegal drugs, eleven (11) individuals were arrested in 8 buy-bust operations in Bacoor City, Trece Martires City, Cavite City, Ternate and GMA and confiscated a total of 30 pieces of small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu, drug money and other drug paraphernalia.
In the campaign against wanted persons, five (5) individuals were arrested to include three Most Wanted Persons Ranked Nr. 1 in Carmona PNP for Violation of Lascivious Conduct under Sec. 5 (b) of RA 7610 (Child Abuse); Ranked Nr. 3 in Tanza PNP for Violation of Sec 5 and Sec 11 Art II, of RA 9165 (Dangerous Drug Act of 2002); and Ranked Nr. 8 in Noveleta PNP for the crime of Illegal Recruitment. Two other wanted persons were arrested for Violation of Sec. 14 of RA 9165 (Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) in Imus City and crime of Rape through Sexual Assault in Bacoor City.
In the campaign against illegal gambling, eight individuals were arrested while engaging in illegal Online Sabong in Rosario, Cavite and confiscated 1 cellular phone and cash money amounting to Php 600.00 as bet money.
Seven (7) suspects were arrested in a stabbing incident with Arson, Theft and Disobedience upon an Agent of Person in Authority in Dasmariñas City; Attempted Homicide in Bacoor City; for the crime of Theft in General Trias City and Imus City; and Violation of Article 151 of the RPC (Resistance and Disobedience upon an Agent of Person in Authority) in Imus City.
Five thousand one hundred eighty-eight (5,188) Quarantine violators were recorded provincewide. Six hundred twenty-six (626) of these have no face masks; 852 wore improper face masks; 2,083 without face shields; 1,044 wore improper face shields; 84 violated social distancing; and 499 violated Curfew Hours. Cavite Police gave warning to 5,108 violators; 55 paid fines; 19 undergone community services; and 6 were charged for other offenses.

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite- Police authorities arrested 38 individuals in Daily Anti-Criminality Drive and 2,833 GCQ violators were recorded over the last 24 hours. In the campaign against illegal drugs, thirty-two (32) individuals were arrested in 15 buy-bust operations and confiscated a total of 95 pieces of small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu, drug money and other drug paraphernalia. In the campaign against wanted persons, four (4) individuals were arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for Theft and Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Less Serious Physical Injuries in Dasmariñas City; for the crime of Unjust Vexation in Tanza; and for the crime of Estafa in Bacoor City. Two (2) suspects were arrested involved in a vehicular accident (RIR resulting to Serious Physical Injuries and Damaged to Properties) in Imus City, and for the crime of Physical Injuries in Kawit, Cavite. A total of 2,833 GCQ violators were recorded, 430 of them were not wearing face masks, 504 wore improper face masks, 899 not wearing face shields, 556 wore improper face shields, 48 violated social distancing, and 396 violated curfews. Cavite Police gave warning to 2,719 paid fines and 41 undergone community services. Cavite PNP is still committed to enforce the law, prevent and control crimes and continue to strengthen its operational capabilities despite the challenges facing in this time of pandemic. NR. 1 MOST WANTED PERSON IN CAVITE, 26 OTHERS NABBED AND 3,980 GCQ VIOLATORS RECORDED

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite- Cavite Police arrested 7 wanted persons, 16 involved on illegal drugs and 4 involved in other cases during their Daily Anti-Criminality Operations and recorded 3,980 violators of Minimum Health Protocols under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) over the last 24 hours.

In the campaign against wanted persons, Norma Bunnao y Salavatera listed as Top Nr 1 in Most Wanted Person in Cavite Police Provincial Office was arrested by personnel of General Trias PNP for Swindling Estafa (11 counts) under Criminal Case No. 3470 CL to 3475, 3488 CL to 2492 CL. Five (5) other wanted persons were arrested for the crime of Homicide in Imus City; Qualified Theft in Noveleta; Violation of RA 7610 (Child Abuse) in General Trias City; Acts of Lasciviousness in Tanza; Unjust Vexation in GMA, Cavite and Violation of RA 8282 (Social Security Act of 1997) arrested in Biñan, Laguna.

In the campaign against illegal drugs, sixteen (16) individuals were arrested in 7 buy-bust operations in Dasmariñas City, Bacoor City, Cavite City, General Trias City and GMA, Cavite which resulted in the confiscation of 36 pieces of small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu, drug money and other drug paraphernalia.

Two (2) suspects were arrested for the crime of Adultery and Concubinage in Trece Martires City, one (1) for stabbing incident in Tanza, and the other one (1) suspect involved in a vehicular accident in GMA, Cavite.

Out of 3,980 GCQ violators reported, 446 without face masks, 644 wore improper face masks, 1,724 without face shields, 770 wore improper face shields, 8 violated mass gathering, 29 violated the social distancing, and 359 violated the curfew hours. Cavite Police gave warning to 3,456 violators, 402 paid fines, 115 undergone community services and 7 were charged for other offenses.

69 INDIVIDUALS ARRESTED IN CAVITE’S DAILY ANTI-CRIMINALITY OPERATIONS AND RECORDED 3,260 MECQ VIOLATORS

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite – Provincial Director PCOL MARLON R SANTOS lauds the arrest of 69 individuals in Cavite’s Daily Anti-Criminality Drive and recorded 3,260 MECQ Violators over the last 24 hours. It includes the arrest of 56 individuals involved in illegal gambling activities on 11 police operations against illegal cockfighting “Tupada”, illegal billiard betting games, pool games and Mahjong. Police confiscated 19 fighting cocks, 12 gaffs, 1 set of billiard balls, 8 pieces of billiard cue sticks, 3 pieces pool cue sticks, 2 sets of playing cards, 1 set of pool chips, 1 set of Mahjong tiles, 1 Mahjong table and cash money amounting to Php 15,970.00 in different denomination as bet money. In the campaign against illegal drugs, three (3) individuals were arrested in 2 separate buy-bust operations in General Trias City and Kawit with confiscation of 7 pieces of small size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu, drug money and other drug paraphernalia. In the campaign against wanted persons, two (2) individuals were arrested by virtue if Warrant of Arrest to include Ranked Nr. 1 Most Wanted Person in Pontevedra MPS, Negros Occidental (Station Level) for the crime of Rape and the other wanted person for the crime of Attempted Homicide in General Trias City. In various crimes, six suspects arrested for the crime of Theft: three in Dasmariñas City, two in Bacoor City, and one in General Trias City. Two other suspects were arrested for Violation of RA 151 of RPC (Resistance and Disobedience to Agent of Person in Authority) in General Trias City and Indang, Cavite. On the other hand, Cavite PNP has recorded a total of three thousand two hundred sixty (3,260) Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine violators provincewide for not wearing face masks, for violation of curfew hours and social distancing. 1 NEUTRALIZED, 26 OTHERS ARRESTED IN CAVITE’S DAILY ANTI-CRIMINALITY OPERATIONS AND RECORDED 163 QUARANTINE VIOLATORS

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite - Cavite Police Provincial Office neutralized 1 person and arrested 26 others in Anti-Criminality Drive while 163 Quarantine violators were recorded over the last 24 hours. In thirteen (13) buy-bust operations in Bacoor City, Dasmariñas City, General Trias City, Rosario and Tanza, Cavite twenty-two (22) individuals were arrested and seizing a total of 56 pieces of small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu, drug money and other drug paraphernalia. A certain RICKY CAPONPON y ALVAREZ alias “RICKY”, of Barangay Timalan Concepcion, Naic, Cavite, a member of Villar Drug Group and ranked no 2 Most Wanted Person Municipal Level (Manhunt Charlie) was neutralized after an armed encounter occurred during the service of Warrant of Arrest by the elements of Naic MPS for the crimes of Robbery with Violence of Intimidation of Persons and Robbery in an inhabited house or public building or edifice devoted to worship with Criminal Case No. NC-107-21 and CC# NC-150-21. Two (2) other Most Wanted Persons were tagged as Ranked No. 5 Provincial Level of Leyte PPO-PRO 8 (Manhunt Charlie) for the crime of Rape arrested in General Trias City and ranked no. 4 City Level (Manhunt Charlie) for the crime of Rape in relation to Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act) in Dasmariñas City. One (1) person was arrested for illegal possession of firearm by the duty police personnel manning at Law Enforcement Checkpoint in Barangay Halang, Naic, Cavite while conducting checkpoint and implementing Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF). Confiscated from his possession was homemade Cal.22 pistol without serial no and loaded with five live ammunitions. A suspect for Violation of Presidential Decree (Anti – Fencing Law) was arrested in Barangay Salinas Bacoor City. On the other hand, one hundred sixty three (163) Enhanced Community Quarantine violators were recorded provincewide for not wearing Face Masks, for Violation of Curfew Hours and Social Distancing. 118 ARRESTS IN CAVITE’S DAILY ANTI-CRIMINALITY DRIVE AND IMPLEMENTATION OF MINIMUM HEALTH PROTOCOLS

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite - Cavite Police Provincial Office arrested 27 individuals in Anti-Criminality Drive and accosted 91 others on Quarantine Violations over the last 24 hours. In the campaign against illegal drugs, fifteen (15) persons were arrested in 12 buy-bust and 1 other drug related operations in Bacoor City, Cavite City, General Trias City, Dasmariñas City, GMA, Naic, Silang and Magallanes. Police confiscated 39 pieces of small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu, 5 pieces of SHSTPS of dried leaves suspected as Marijuana, drug money and other drug paraphernalia. In the campaign against wanted person, nine (9) wanted persons were arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest to include two Most Wanted Persons Ranked Nr. 5 in Apayao Province (Provincial level) identified as Rodrigo Dela Cruz @ Totoy for the crime of Rape docketed under Criminal Case Nr. 23-2020, 24-2020, 25-2020 and RA 7610 docketed under Criminal Case No. 22-2020 and other MWP Ranked Nr. 3 in GMA, Cavite (Municipal Level) identified as Renato Breis y Pangan Jr. for the crime of Rape in relation to RA 7610 under Criminal Case Nr. B-2007-70. Seven other wanted persons were arrested for the crime of Attempted Homicide in Cavite City; Robbery with Force upon Things in GMA, Cavite, violation of RA 9775 (Syndicated Child Pornography) in Bacoor City; violation of RA 7610 (Anti-Child Abuse Act) in Noveleta; Qualified Trespass to Dwelling in Carmona; and BP Blg. 22 (19 Counts) & Other Deceits under Article 318 of RPC in Silang, Cavite. Three suspects were arrested for their involvement in a vehicular accidents in Carmona, Cavite and Violation of PD1612 (Anti-fencing Law) in Bacoor City. On the other hand, ninety-one (91) Community Quarantine violators were recorded provincewide for not wearing Face Masks and for Violation of Curfew Hours. The arrested suspects who committed criminal offense were apprised of their Constitutional Rights and documentation are being undertaken for filing appropriate charges against them before the Office of the City and/or Provincial Prosecutor. CAVITE PNP ARRESTED 44 INDIVIDUALS IN DAILY ANTI-CRIMINALITY OPERATIONS AND IMPLEMENTATION OF MINIMUM HEALTH PROTOCOLS

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite - Cavite Police Provincial Office arrested 16 on illegal drugs, 2 on wanted persons and 9 involved in various crimes in Daily Anti-Criminality Drive and 21 accosted individuals on Quarantine Violations over the last 24 hours.

In the campaign against illegal drugs, sixteen (16) drug personalities were arrested in 9 buy-bust operations in Bacoor City, Dasmariñas City, General Trias City, Cavite City, Tagaytay City, Imus City, General Aguinaldo and confiscated a total of 54 pieces of small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu, 1 piece tea bag containing dried leaves suspected as Marijuana, drug money and other drug paraphernalia. In the campaign against wanted persons, two (2) individuals were arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime Attempted Homicide in Dasmariñas City and Estafa in Tanza, Cavite.

Six (6) other suspects were arrested for their involvement in various crimes such as Murder (shooting incident) in Bacoor City; Violation of RA 10883 (New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016) in General Trias City; Anti-Fencing Law in Bacoor City; Violation of RA 8484 (Access Device Law) in Tanza; Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Damage to property in Rosario, Cavite; and Violation of RA 9268 (The Philippine Veterinary Medicine Act of 2004) On the other hand, twenty-one (21) Community Quarantine violators were recorded provincewide for not wearing Face Masks and for Violation of Curfew Hours.

The arrested suspects who committed criminal offense were apprised of their Constitutional Rights and documentation are being undertaken for filing appropriate charges against them before the Office of the City and/or Provincial Prosecutor. CAVITE'S ANTI -CRIMINALITY DRIVE ARRESTS 26 INDIVIDUALS AND RECORDS 81 MGCQ VIOLATORS

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite- Cavite Police Provincial Office arrested 26 individuals in anti-criminality and recorded 81 Community Quarantine Violators over the last 24 hours from January 1-2, 2021.
In the campaign against illegal gambling, seventeen (17) individuals were arrested while engaging in illegal cockfighting activity (Tupada) and playing illegal card game (Tong-its) and confiscation of 4 fighting cocks (2 dead), 4pieces gaffs (tari) 1 deck of playing cards and cash money amounting to Php 2,213.00 as bet money.
In the campaign against illegal drugs, five (5) personalities were arrested in 4 buy-bust operations conducted in Bacoor City, Trece Martires City, Amadeo and Ternate and confiscated a total of 12 pieces small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing dried leaves suspected as marijuana 3 pieces small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu and other drug paraphernalia.
In the campaign against wanted persons, one Renante Perey y Perez, listed as Top 4 in Most Wanted Person (Municipal Level) was collared in Mendez, Cavite for Violation of Sec. 5 Art. II of R.A 9165 (Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) under CC No. NC-514-19.
Three (3) other suspects were arrested for the crime of Attempted Rape in Ternate, Cavite, Vehicular Accident (Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Damage to Properties and Multiple Physical Injuries) in GMA, Cavite, and Alarms and Scandal in Dasmariñas City.
Moreover, a total of eigthy-one (81) community violators were recorded for not wearing Face Mask and violation of curfew hours.
The arrested suspects were brought to the stations for documentation and preparation to file appropriate charges before the Office of the City/Provincial Prosecutor.

56 LAW OFFENDERS NABBED AND 136 QUARANTINE VIOLATORS RECORDED

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite- Police authorities nabbed 23 drug suspects, collared 1 wanted person, arrest of 32 others and accosted 136 Community Quarantine Violators in an overnight anti-criminality campaign. On the campaign against Illegal drugs, a total of 23 drug personalities were arrested during the 8 anti-drug and 1 other related operations and seized 70 pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected "shabu", 3 pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected "marijuana" and assorted drug paraphernalias. On Manhunt Charlie Campaign, one wanted person was collared for the crime of Estafa under CC No.2012-013 at Brgy. Palangue 3, Naic, Cavite. On the fight against illegal gambling, 11 bettors were arrested while caught in the act of engaging in Tupada (illegal cock fighting) in Dasmarinas City and Naic, Cavite. Recovered pieces of evidence were 4 pieces gaffs (tari), 3 pieces live fighting cocks placed in rooster case, 1 piece dressed fighting cock and Php 4,382.00 bet money in different denomination. On the campaign against Wanted Persons, one suspect identified as Anthony Villanueva Y Viesca was arrested in Brgy De Ocampo Trece Martirez City, Cavite by elements of OPD-SOG by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Frustrated Murder under CC no. 1475. On the campaign against illegal drugs, 10 buy bust operations conducted in Trece Martires City, Rosario, Silang, Dasmariñas City, Imus City and Cavite City which resulted in the arrest of 16 pushers, busted 31 pieces of small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of shabu. On illegal gambling operation, 2 bettors were apprehended engaging in TUPADA in Amadeo, Cavite. Police confiscated 1 piece of live fighting cock, 4 pieces of dead fighting cocks, 3 pieces gaffs and betting money amounting to Php220.00 pesos. Cavite Police Provincial Office Daily Situation Report logs 22 arrests, 1 was neutralized in an overnight anti-criminality campaign and accosted 92 Community Quarantine Violators from October 5-6, 2020. On the campaign against Illegal Drugs, 17 drug personalities were nabbed in 7 buy-bust operations conducted by elements of Magallanes PNP, Cavite City PNP, Dasmariñas City PNP, and Bacoor City PNP that resulted in the confiscation of 27 pieces small transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu and drug money. On Most Wanted Persons, 2 suspects were arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the Violation of Sec10 (a) of RA 7610 (Child Abuse) in Tanza, Cavite and for the crime of Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Damage to Property in Silang, Cavite. Three suspects were arrested after they were involved in crime incidents for Trespass to Dwelling/Unjust Vexation/Alarm and Scandal Incident in Bacoor City; and Direct Assault in Rosario. Meanwhile in East West Road, Brgy. Pangil, Amadeo, Cavite, a suspect identified as Raydan Montibon, construction worker was neutralized after he retaliated with the responding officers. Initial report revealed that the suspect and the victim identified as Ruben Candare wrestled with the victim’s short and long firearms. As the suspect grabbed the firearms, without any reason shot the victim several times and the responding policemen which prompted them to returned fire at the suspect that resulted to his instantaneous death. FIVE HIGH VALUE TARGETS NABBED AND 3.7 MILLION WORTH OF SHABU SEIZED IN CAVITE

According to PCOL MARLON R SANTOS, PD, Cavite PPO, three separate drug bust operations were conducted by joint elements of Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 4A, Regional Intelligence Unit 4A, PDEA 4A, Imus PNP and Bacoor PNP which resulted in the arrest of five high value targets listed as Regional Top Priority of PRO CALABARZON and confiscation of more or less 550 grams of shabu with DDB Value of Php 3, 740, 000.00 pesos . At about 7:30 PM of May 7, 2020 at Brgy. Molino IV, Bacoor City, Cavite, the team arrested a couple, listed as Top Priority Regional High Value Individual PRO 4A identified as KYLA MAMINTAL y ABUNDAS, 29 years old, married, jobless, native of Marawi City and ISAH ADAM y ABUNDAS, 30 years old, married, jobless, native of lligan City, Lanao Del Norte, both are presently residing at Brgy. Datu Esmael, Dasmariñas City, Cavite. Confiscated from their possession were suspected shabu weighing more or less (300) grams with estimated DDB value of two million forty thousand pesos (PHP2, 040, 000.00). The couple is believed to be the direct supplier of drug syndicates operating in Brgy Datu Esmael, Dasmariñas City. Another drug suspect listed as Top Priority Regional High Value Individual identified as KAMAR MAMINTAL y MANDAW, 30 years old, married, jobless, native of Brgy. Lalod Mandaya, Marawi City and presently residing at Brgy. Datu Esmael, Dasmariñas City, Cavite was arrested in Brgy Anabu 2D, Imus City, Cavite on May 7, 2020 at 4:25PM.

The confiscated illegal drugs was weighing more or less two hundred grams with estimated DDB value of one million three hundred sixty thousand pesos (PHP 1, 360, 000.00). Meanwhile in Brgy. Molino III, Bacoor City, Cavite at 6:30PM of May 7, 2020, another two drug suspects listed as Regional High Value Individual were apprehended. They were identified as SHIELA MAE CAÑEDO y REMENTIZO, 23 years old, single, jobless, native of Cagayan De Oro City, and resident of B-12 L-3 Brgy. Queen’s Row West, Bacoor City, Cavite; and ROGER RODRIGUEZ y MARTINEZ, 32 years old, single, market porter and resident of Brgy. Anabu II-D, Imus City, Cavite. The confiscated illegal drugs (buy bust item) weighs more or less fifty (50) grams with estimated DDB value of three hundred forty thousand pesos (PHP340, 000.00).

Arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna for custodial investigation prior to submission to PDEA Laboratory Office 4A for chemical analysis and drug dependency examinations. Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite- Police Colonel Marlon R Santos, Provincial Director, Cavite PPO, reported that 1332 personalities were accounted for violating the Provincial Ordinance EO-10 Series 2020 (Community Quarantine) while 7 others were arrested in an overnight anti-criminality campaign.

On the campaign against illegal drugs, 3 drug personalities were arrested by Dasmariñas CPS while seizing a total of MOL 6.0 grams of suspected shabu with street value amounting to Php 40, 800.00 and several drug paraphernalia.

In our drive against illegal gambling, 2 personalities were collared by Ternate MPS and confiscated from the suspects were one live fighting cock.

Meanwhile, two others were captured at Brgy. Cabuco, Trece Martires City for Direct Assault upon Agent of Person in Authority, Resisting Arrest and Disobedience.

Cavite Provincial Government headed by HON. JUANITO VICTOR C. REMULLA, Cavite Governor, provided thirty (30) new units of Patrol Cars Toyota Wigo to Cavite Police Provincial Office held at Capitol Grounds, Trece Martires City, Cavite at 3:00 in the afternoon of March 16, 2020. Whereas, four (4) wanted persons were arrested by virtue of Warrants of Arrest for the crime of Frustrated Murder with recommended bail amounting to Php 200, 000.00, Bigamy, Violation of RA 9262, and Alarms and Scandals. While, nineteen (19) personalities were arrested for Resistance and Disobedience to a person in Authority and twenty nine (29) minors were held for curfew in relation to the implementation of EO-10 Series of 2020 or Placing Luzon under Enhanced Community Quarantine in view of Covid-19 outbreak. In warrantless arrest, one (1) was arrested for Alarms and Scandals in Imus City. Arrested persons are now in the custody of the stations where they were arrested while criminal complaints will be filed against them. Pieces of evidence confiscated will be turned-over to Crime Laboratory for examination. CAVITE POLICE ACCOUNTED 26 ARRESTS IN AN OVERNIGHT INTENSIFIED ANTI-CRIMINALITY DRIVE

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City,Cavite- Police Colonel Marlon R Santos, Provincial Director Cavite PPO reported to CALABARZON Regional Director, Police Brigadier General Vicente D Danao Jr. on the accomplishment of Cavite PNP in an overnight anti-criminality operations from February 22-23, 2020 that resulted in the arrest of 26 persons. On campaign against illegal drugs, Cavite PNP conducted 3 buy bust and 2 other related operations which resulted in the arrest of 6 drug suspects and accounted a total of 25.07 grams of suspected shabu with DDB value of Php 170,476.00 pesos. On 3 operations conducted against Wanted Persons, 3 suspects by virtue of warrant of arrest were taken into custody which include Top Most Wanted person in General Trias ranked Nr. 3 for the crime of Qualified Theft. While two other wanted persons were apprehended for the crimes of Slight Physical Injuries in General Trias and GMA, Cavite.

Troops for Election Duties, Deployed

Camp BGen Vicente P Lim– COMELEC 4A Regional Election Director Atty Gloria G. Ramos-Petallo, Commander Southern Luzon Command LTGEN Gilbert I Gapay, and PRO4A Regional Director PBGEN Edward E Carranza led this morning’s Send-Off Ceremony of Troops for Election Duties who will be deployed in the different polling precints and other areas in CALABARZON region.

A total of 12, 584 personnel from the Regional Headquarters and the five (5) Police Provincial Offices to include the 511 personnel from the Armed Forces of the Philippines were deployed to render election duties for the 2019 Midterm Elections.

“This Send-Off Ceremony for our troops who will be deployed for Election duties is a proof of our earnest aspiration for a secure, credible, and fair Midterm Elections through working together at a level of excellence to ensure that we will meet our desired outcome,” said LTGEN Gilbert I Gapay.

COMELEC 4A Election Director Atty Petallo commends the PNP and AFP for the untiring support and assistance for all the preparations in the upcoming 2019 Midterm Elections.

Meanwhile, PBGEN Carranza reminded everyone that as public servants they should know the policy of non-partisanship. “For those who have their own political affiliations and/or relatives running for certain seat in the government, you must refrain from showing your support and patronage,” he further added.

During the ceremony, Election Information Cards were distributed to the troops for easy access to Election Monitoring Action Center and Tactical Operation Center as well as the Guidelines in Securing Polling Centers.

Also present during the ceremony were the different Provincial Election Officers, and representatives from other government agencies.

The ceremony was immediately followed by an Area Joint Security Coordinating Center Meeting participated by the Regional Directors and concerned officers of Police Regional Office 4A, 4B and Police Regional Office 5, their respective COMELEC Election Officers, the Joint Task Force Katagalugan (JTFK), Joint Task Force Bicolandia (JTFB), Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM), and the Directorate for Integrated Police Operations Southern Luzon led by PMGEN Ericson T Velasquez.

“I must say that all is set and we have a well-prepared deployment, hence I would like everyone to directly supervise our people in Police Stations for other preparations,” PMGEN Velasquez said.
