CAVITE PPO Arrest 88 Drug Personalities, 38 Wanted Persons and 7 Illegal Gambling in SACLEO

Cavite Police Provincial Director, Police Colonel MARLON R SANTOS reported to CALABARZON Regional Director, Police Brigadier General VICENTE DANAO on the arrest of 88 drug personalities out of fifty-three (55) operations conducted during the three day Simultaneous Anti-criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) from December 13-15, 2019.

SACLEO aims to intensify the reduction of crimes in hotspot areas and notorious criminals by focusing in serving of Warrant of Arrest, Implementation of Search Warrant, and operation against illegal drugs, Illegal gambling and illegal possession of firearms.

During the implementation of SACLEO, Cavite PNP manage to conduct fifty-three (53) operations against illegal drugs thru buy bust that resulted to the arrest of eighty-eight (88) personalities that includes sisty-five (65) pushers and twenty-three (23) users; thirty-eight (38) operation conducted in the implementation of Warrant of Arrest that resulted to the arrest of thirty-eight (38) wanted persons.

Dasmariñas PNP gained the biggest amount of recovered suspected shabu weighing 60 grams with street value of Php 408, 000.00 from the possession of MANOLITO VILLANUEVA y OLA aka Michael, 47 years old, jobless during the buy bust operation conducted in Brgy Paliparan 3, Dasmariñas City at about 02:30 in the afternoon of December 14, 2019. They also recover shabu more or less 48.00 grams with estimated market value of JOHN MELVIN CASTINEDA Y SAMSON A.K.A CARLO, single, jobless during the buy bust operation conducted in Brgy Paliparan 3, Dasmariñas City aviyt 12:40AM of December 15, 2019.

The over-all operation resulted in the seizure and confiscation of a total of 195.6 grams of shabu worth of P1,330,080.00 grams of marijuana worth of P3, 600.00 and 4 short firearms.

Operations conducted against illegal gambling resulted in the arrest of seven (7) gamblers and confiscated cash amounting to Php 2,070.00 and several gambling paraphernalia.

Twenty-one (21) firearms were taken in police custody for temporary safekeeping in the police station in line with the Oplan Katok against those firearms holders with expired licenses.

Arrested suspects and pieces of evidence were brought to Cavite Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (SOCO) for laboratory examination while Criminal Complaints for Violation of RA 9165 otherwise known as "Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002" and Violation of RA 10591 and Violation of PD1602 are being prepared for filling before the Prosecutor's Office.

Cavite Police Provincial Office, simultaneous police operation seemingly gained a positive resulted which is projected to favorably contribute to the decline of crimes within the Area of Responsibility of Cavite.(/p)
